Bacteria - Bacteria are self-sufficient, single-celled microorganisms found in the body. The two main kinds of bacteria are beneficial and pathogenic (harmful).
Basal Cells - Basal cells make up the cell division layer of the skin. These cells undergo cell division to renew the upper layers of the epidermis.
Biopsy - A surgical procedure that involves the removal of a small sample of tissue for closer examination under a microscope to establish a diagnosis.
Blister - A fluid-filled bump on the surface of the skin.
