Dovonex (Daivonex Calcipotriol) - A synthetic vitamin D formulation that helps slow down the rapid over production of skin cells found in those with psoriasis.
Dermatitis - Inflammation of the skin that often includes redness, itching and scaling.
Dermatology - The medical practice by physicians (dermatologists) that deals with disorders of the skin.
Dermatosis - A non-specific term used in reference of a skin disease.
Dermis - The middle layer of skin, which lies beneath the epidermis. This layer of skin encloses nerves, blood vessels, and skin appendages.
Diagnosis - The process of identifying a disease from its signs and symptoms.
