Fatty Acids - Fats that can not be produced by the body and must be supplied by our diet. These unsaturated -good fats- are essential for maintaining proper health. They include omega-3 fatty acids, linoleic acid, and monounsaturated fats.
Flake - A small, flat, thin layer of skin that separates from the epidermis.
Flare - A sudden worsening or reoccurrence of psoriasis.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - The federal agency of the United States that regulates the development, marketing, and approval of food and drugs.
