Maceration - Softening of tissue. The use of topical corticosteroids can lead to skin softening and thinning if used for an extended period of time.
Macule - A small, flat, discolored area of skin. A macule that measures larger than 5mm is called a patch.
Magnesium Stearate - A mineral that supports bone mineralization, heart function and many enzyme systems. Magnesium is essential to the bodys use of glucose. It also supports normal immune system function.
Margosa - A tree commonly found in India. The tree is cultivated for its wood, rind, leaves, fruits and flowers for their medicinal and therapeutic properties. Margosa (neem) helps to purify the blood and increase circulation to promote healing. Margosa oil is very effective in treating arthritis, leprosy, and many skin conditions.
Matrix - On the human hand, the matrix is responsible for producing the nail plate. It contains blood vessels which carry essential nutrition to the nail cells being formed.
Methotrexate - A systemic chemotherapeutic medication that is used to treat cancer and severe cases of psoriasis. It is effective in slowing the rapid rate of cell production found in those with psoriasis.
Moisturizer - A substance used to hydrate the skin. Usually a liquid, cream, lotion, or oil.
