U
Ultraviolet Light - Light rays that are beyond the visible light spectrum. The use of short wave ultraviolet light for medical purposes can have a therapeutic effect on skin conditions such as acne and psoriasis. Long term exposure to ultraviolet light can cause skin burning and cancer.
UVB Phototherapy - The use of artificial ultraviolet B (middle wave) light in the treatment of psoriasis and severe cases of dermatitis.
